I have done something similar to make muffins.
Also, a Thanksgiving pie is a favorite at my house - I use a large pie plate - layer the stuffing to make a crust, top with, turkey, a little gravy, chopped up leftover veggies, and cover all with a good layer of mashed potatoes. Bake till heated through and browned on top. Serve pieces of the "pie" with cranberry sauce and gravy on the side.

Oh my, that is brilliant!
Thanks for sharing your idea @NJgirl 1205

These recipes are starting to sound better than the actual thanksgiving meal. I may heed to break with protocol one year and just make these instead!

@GenXmuse I was actually toying with the idea of starting a thread about "leftovers . . . ok, now what do i do?" . . . there have been so many great ideas sprinkled throughout many threads so maybe I'll try and capture some of those ideas and we can build from there . . . ![]()

@jaxs mom wrote:LOL when I read the title I thought it was using leftover waffles in stuffing/dressing. That sounds good too
Don't feel bad, @jaxs mom if you misunderstood anything...
I thought that we were supposed to make waffles out of the rest of the leftovers too, like the mashed potatoes! LOL!!
Now, that would be interesting, blending everything together and making it into a waffle.
I was thinking a turkey-stuffing-cranberry-mashed potato-type waffle, covered with gravy!
I saw this recipe on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives and you probably can make waffles as well.
