Could it be cut in strips or pieces over chicken pot pie or cobbler?

@godi --do you have enough to make a smal crust and freeze it for a future meal? My mom would roll her leftover dough out, cut it into shapes with cookie cutters, sprinkle it with cinnamon sugar, bake it for us 2 kids as treats--was delious!!! good memory for me--thanks!!

@wagirl

That's what my mom did too!  Usually she didn't have enough to cut into shapes, so she just flattened or rolled it out into small pieces.  I loved those pieces more than the pies!😂

Good memories for me, too.

My grandmother always rolled any left over pie crust out, put some cinnamon and sugar on it, cut it in thin strips, twisted the strips  and baked till golden brown.  It was so good with milk or coffee.  Like crispy cinnamon rolls.  I bet you could freeze them.

@QVCkitty1  My mother did the same as others with cinnamon and sugar; nice treat - we kids loved them.

Now, I will use the refrigerated pie crust and brush with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mix, roll into a 'log' shape, slice (~ 1/2")  and bake. My husband Loves these and says they're like potato chips, you can't eat just one.

My Mom and I always made cinnamon-roll type cookies - roll the dough into a rectangle, apply think layer of margarine or soft butter, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on it. Then roll up like a cinnamon roll, slice and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.  They're delish.
