Re: Laura Slatkin Pancake Receipe

Thank you VERY much @MsChristmas  and @Zhills for taking the time to post the recipes!

It is much appreciated!

I don't think I have had pancakes in dozens of years, but those sound so good!  I never saw sour cream as an ingredient.

I don't have any nanners right now...but I do have blueberries!

Thanks again!

I don't know where I originally found the recipe; I only knew I had it saved as a Word doc:

Banana Pancakes Recipe

1-1/2 cups of flour
1 Tbsp of baking powder
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of kosher salt

Sift those ingredients listed above together in a bowl and then add:

1-1/2 Tbsp of brown sugar

In a separate bowl mix:

2 eggs
1/2 cup of sour cream
3/4 cup of milk
1 Tbsp of vanilla

Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and then add:

3 sliced bananas and 1 Tbsp of lemon zest or
2 sliced bananas and semi-sweet chocolate chips or
2 sliced bananas and 1-1/2 cups of blueberries and 1 Tbsp of lemon zest

Melt butter in a frying pan—wait until hot and spoon pancakes onto frying pan—flip when bubbles surface or they turn golden brown.
