I make avocado pudding with cocoa occasionally and I also make homemade ice cream and sherbet in my vitamix.

@Q-Checker wrote:How about no sugar added applesauce? Maybe with some added fresh fruit? Btw, I am often put off by the fact that so many of the recipes in the Recioes Forum are loaded with sugar, not to mention high carb ingredients, in general.
Funny, but I recently changed after eating those small 6 packs of applesauce. I thought that would be better than ice cream, right?
Well, then I noticed that the regular tiny cups have 22 grams of sugar! Yikes!
The no-sugar-added cups have 12 grams of sugar ... which still seems like a lot to me, but all fruit has sugar.

@Tinkrbl44 - Yes, I knew that no sugar added applesauce contains sugar but, as you said, all fruit does. The no added sugar brand I use (small Motts cup) ,by the way, only contains 10 grams of sugar. I did not post my favorite no, or low, sugar dessert as I doubt that others would like it. It is fresh blueberries topped with a dollop of no sugar addd strawberry or blackberry jelly. Weird, I know.

Peel and slice an apple. Place in ovenproof bowl or small casserole dish. Pour in a little milk and sprinkle some instant oatmeal, cinnamon and what ever sweetner you like...low cal, brown sugar or maple syrup. Stir.
I put it in the microwave for a few minutes until the apples are soft, but you could bake it in an oven.

I cut up a Granny Smith apple and eat a few choc chips with it, like a light version of a Prindable.

I just remembered that Jello makes a dark chocolate no sugar pudding with only 11 grams of carbs per cup. Not as good as the real thing of course but good, for chocoholics, in comparison to other no sugar products.

Somehow, I killed my cravings for SALT & GREASE years ago...but sugar is something else. If I don't get something sweet...I get really cranky. di

For me, a "dessert" needs to be something my body needs so the cravings stop. I have an app that keeps track of what I eat and what I need to eat. So do I need more protein? More fiber? Good for you fat? Carbs?
If you satisfy your body's needs and keep doing this for a number of weeks, the cravings do subside a lot--or they did for us. You need real food, and just because it's low far or low cal it doesn't mean it is healthy or giving you what your body needs.

I like to freeze watermelon and when good and frozen grate it, taste good and refreshing to me.
