I am making a strawberry pretzel jello for Easter. Is it okay if I make it on Friday ? I am making 2 desserts on Sat. and getting everything ready for Sunday I just won't have the time unless I get up very early on Sat. Thanks and have a wonderful Easter.

Yes. And it will be firmer if made ahead.

I make this too, but have recently ditched the strawberry jello layer and instead substitute it for a can of cherry pie filling. So now it's a pretzel layer, cream cheese layer and cherry pie filling layer. I know it may not be for everyone, but I'm not a big jello fan. Happy Easter to you too!

it should be ok. Just know that the berries may get mushy and the pretzels will soften, but it will still taste good. We usually eat on ours for 5-6 days. It's one of our family favorites!

I would just add to the previous posters' comments that if you cover the bowl/mold with a tight sheet of plastic wrap the jello won't absorb other favors/smells from being refrigerated for so long and should be fresh when you serve it.

OMGosh---how I LOVE that salad!! Not fond of jello much but in that salad-------I actually eat less of the other glorious food to save room for the pretzel salad!!! ![]()
