This is my day for questions -- has anybody ever made this to know how it turns out or tastes? I had never heard of it until Christmas 2012, although apparently it's an old recipe. I didn't get to taste it -- the lady who was talking about it had brought it for her daughter and wouldn't even give us a peek! I was intrigued by the idea, and I found the recipe in an old "Jello Magic" cookbook.

Jello Fudge

1/4 cup milk
1 6-serving package Butterscotch Pudding and Pie Filling
(or Chocolate or Vanilla)
3 TB butter
2-1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
2/3 cup chopped nuts

Line a small loaf pan with waxed paper. Blend milk gradually into pudding mix in medium microwave-safe bowl. Add butter. Microwave uncovered on High for one minute. Mixture should just begin to foam or boil around edges. Do not Overcook. Stir well.
Quickly blend in powdered sugar and nuts. Pour into pan. Chill 45 minutes to one hour. Cut into pieces.
Store in refrigerator.
Can add 1/2 cup dried fruit if desired.
