This is from allrecipes.com, and it was yummy! I skipped the crockpot and just simmered on stovetop for about 20 mins. I also added the optional ingredients, and cut the sugar to just under 1 cup (and that was plenty sweet!)

Definitely getting added to the rotation, and perfect for those last minute dinner dilemnas!

Island Kielbasa Serves 6 www.allrecipes.com

(can do in slow cooker 4 hours low or on stovetop to reheat)

Ingredients:

2 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1

/2 inch pieces

2 cups ketchup

1 tbs apple cider vinegar (optional)

½ tsp red wine vinegar

1 to 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (to taste)

1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks,

Undrained

Green pepper rings (optional)

Chopped onion (optional)

½ tsp worstechire sauce

1 cup applesauce

Place the sausage, ketchup, sugar and pineapple in the slow cooker and mix together.
