I have a recipe for my Instant Pot that I want to try.

It calls for 3tsp. gram masala.  What is that and where do I find it in the store?

Look in the spice jar section.  It is a dried spice mixture.

If you store has an dedicated section for this food style check there too?

It is Garam Masala--a dry spice mixture.

Look in spice aisle or international foods section of large supermarket.  If you can't find it there are many recipes online to make your own spice mixture.

I use this all the time with Indian food. Consists of ground spices like cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, coriander, nutmeg, bay leaf, mace and black pepper. In the spice aisle.

I typically buy it in the Indian takeout/grocery store.  It comes in smaller packets than the whole jar that the grocery store has.  Also available in Mediterranean grocery spots, at least around here it is.  In major grocery chains I find it under the O Organics brand or the Organic Great Value brand in walmart.
