It is a desert type bread. I have  recipe  that is quite old, and I think it calls for a lot of sugar too  and mine is very spicy..I haven't made it in years, BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS

@Nightowlz ..............To me it looks like its written by the person who wrote the recipe.  But it could be her opinion.  I just wondered because it looks like a fairly expensive bread to make.

I guess you are right. It could be either way. Hopefully she will reply to let us know. It does make 3 large loaves. The one I posted makes 2.

I used to bake mine in coffee cans ,as per the recipe
