Ina Garten's show. "Cook Like a Pro: American Classics"

was on this morning on Food Network.

Steak

iceberg slices with bleu cheese

fried chicken (double battered)

ice cream sandwiches

Bobby Flay came on to make a caramel milk shake

Her recipes are MAJOR high calorie as evidenced by the fact that she's SO overweight. She's a FAN of fried unhealthy food.

Actually, no, she is not a fan of fried unhealthy food.  She makes a very wide variety of food.  Take a look at her cookbooks.

What she is a fan of, and she keeps telling us, is enhanced flavor.

Ina's show is one of the few Food Network cooking shows I can still watch, along with Damaris and (sometimes) Ree. .Most of the others are too silly or not showcasing the kind of recipes I can use. My SIL and I use her tips and recipes fairly often. And, by the way, if she is SO overweight, I'm a sumo wrestler!

That was arotten thing to say about her.  She is SO overweight.  What has that got to do with her being a good cook and a nice person?  I am glad you are not my friend.

@Jinlei, that’s the “norm” for that poster. Always criticizing people’s weight, food choices and clothing choices. Yeah, I wouldn’t want her has a friend either.

She has a very nice personality and she is easy to listen to when she is cooking. To say that she is fat is not nice at all. I love her cookbooks. I have most of them. Although I;m not a real good cook I like to test myself and see if I can at least try and make the easy ones.
