I've got a pound of lean gound beef, a box of macaroni, two cans of Hunt's pasta sauce, also a few cans of Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup, a can of organic gabanzo beans, along with a couple bags of frozen brussel sprouts (my furbaby loves them
) on hand, along with a medley of spices.
Since I'm not a Rachael Ray, could certainly use some ideas of what tasty treat I can make with any/all these ingredients. Since I share with my Eddy, dogs cannot eat onions, garlic, mushrooms, etc. Also, was wondering if I could bake something up without pre-cooking the macaroni.
Your ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When I make beefaroni/macnbeef I add dry macaroni - it comes out fine. (I never pre-cook lasagna noodles either.) I'd suggest the beefaroni but leave out the beans and cream of chicken soup.

You could probably make two different meals with that combo of ingredients

Sounds very much like a skillet meal we made in my foods classes.
Adjusting it for you,
Brown and drain the ground beef (we added chopped onions)
Add 1/2 c chopped green pepper (if you have it)
Add 2 cans pasta sauce with the box of macaroni noodles plus 1/2 C water.
(The noodles cook in the skillet.)
Edited to add: Cover and simmer on low 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with grated chedder cheese.
@eddyandmeI edited this.![]()

Are you saying that's all the food you have on hand? I'm not criticizing, just wondering because I, evidently, have enough food on hand to feed a small army for several weeks.
And do you really cook your meals with your dog in mind? That's love! I thought I was gracious to consider my husband's preferences!

Well, basically, yeah, plus a few other things.! I've been 'cleaning out the freezer and trying to use up canned goods. It's only me and my dog. I'd rather buy fresh. Eddy was badly abused before being rescued and in trying to make him stronger, I've added 'people' food, especially lots of fruits and vegetables to his diet, which he seems to be thriving on. That's why I cook with him in mind and I don't have a ton of leftovers to get thrown out! And, guess it's love: I saved him, but he saved me, too!
P.S. You are gracious to consider your husband's preferences!![]()

Well, bless your heart... Eddy is a lucky dog. I rescued an abused beagle and he was my favorite dog of all time.
I forever dream of emptying out the pantry and freezer, but as soon as I see empty space I start to panic and restock.... it's a problem.

In the wintertime, I do stock up 'cause we tend to get snowed in around here. But, then I try to start cleaning out as the weather improves. And, Eddy is a bit "spoiled". For breakfast he had some peach yogurt with sliced fresh strawberries over his kibble; lunch was kibble with the remaing leftovers I had from lunch at Red Robin yesterday!
At his first annual visit to the vet, he was 'wowed' and asked what I was doing. Told him and then added air-fried brussel sprouts was Eddy's favorites. We all joked about that! I now have a vet (friends with the other vet) who makes house calls. So this year, told her to tell the other vet Eddy's new fave is oven-roasted prociutto(sp) wrapped asparagus! But, imho, all rescues deserve to be spoiled, especially with love.

You are obviously a compassionate person, Goldenlocks, but you are also blowing my mind! You have a vet that makes house calls?!!!!!!!
