How about a cookbook from Forum Posters and QVC Viewers?

This would entail QVC employees soliciting viewer recipes and culling the boards for recipes.  (I realize only a small percentage of viewers use the boards.) Then they would have to be tested and re-written in standard recipe language.  A huge undertaking, but I think it would produce a fun cookbook from different regions of the country.

@depglass

QVC did put out a cookbook like this once, that I have.

It's called 'The Best of the Best from QVC Cookbook', Favorite Recipes from Viewers, Hosts, Employees and Friends.

The copyright date is 2002, Quail Ridge Press, in case you want to try to find it on a secondary market.

It has sooo many delicious recipes that we love!

I agree with you though, it's time for QVC to do another one!

Does it have the purple or yellow cover?  Didn't they put out two, or is it the same book?  Anyone know?  I can't remember!

I'm not sure if they put out 1 or 2, but mine has a purple cover.

[ Edited ]

There have been 2 that I know of: QVC Family Cookbook, and Best of the Best From QVC.  I purchased both copies from ebay.

Edited to add - I just checked on ebay and found many of these cookbooks on sale for less than $10.  I also saw many of Mary Beth's cookbooks which I thought were great fun.  For years Rick used to tease her about "Cheez-Whiz".  The one cookbook that I couldn't quite get into was Bob Bowersox's.  He was such a nice, pleasant man when he did most of the cooking shows on QVC, but his cookbook had a ton of fish recipes in it and I don't care for fish.

@cerb

I just checked ebay and there are lots of each of these cookbooks available on ebay for $9.99 or much less.

There's a lot of different ones by Mary Beth Roe, Bob Bowersox and David Veneable.

I was really surprised to see that Mr. Food did a 'Best of QVC' cookbook in 1998 and there's even one, 'At Home With QVC' from 1989, Kathy Levine's era.

Sorry about posting a lot of what you said in your post, but I stepped away from my laptop for a few minutes and didn't see your edited post, before I sent mine.

@cherry

What's the website name?

I have a ton of recipes in a recipe file that I've copied and pasted from the Recipe forum, but to be able to just look them up online would be easier, since my recipe file is getting full, LOL!

TIA!

I would love a cookbook like that!  It feels like Taste of (

Home before they made it all sleek and sterile. I know I’ve printed out a lot of recipes from here. Maybe a Pinterest board?
