@lucky-girl

Just to understand the Christmas goodies would be part of the salad or you're looking for an additional recipe than just the salad?

You can't find anything easier than this.  I've taken it to a hundred or so pot lucks.  I always bring home a bowl scraped clean.  It's delicious and can be made relatively low calorie.  Nobody can figure out what's in it.

Warm pasta salad

Cook Gemelli noodles ( they are a thicker noodle  )  - do not over cook . Drain water off and  add just enough  olive oil to lightly coat noodles add 1 package of dry Good Seasoning Italian dressing . Then add Feta cheese  to warm noodles . Add  finely diced red onion and red/yellow peppers . Also  cook fresh frozen peas al dente and add to the noodles,  feta cheese , ect mixture. Serve the salad  warm.

If you like, add  a little Dijon mustard to the initial olive oil to coat the hot  drained noodles

(typos corrected )

Biut there is no such thing as a  4.5 oz carton of Cool Whip. So,do we use slightly more than half an 8 oz tub?

Also thanks for saying cottage cheese drained as I probably would've just dumped that whole.

I want to try this.

@LizzieInSRQ.  I just grab the regular size carton of Cool Whip and never looked at the weight.  I use low fat cottage cheese which has little whey in it.

@Kachina624 Have you made this recipe with no sugar (or no added sugar) gelatin, oranges, and  pineapple? And other no sugar  products for the cottage cheese and the coolwhip?
