I've stopped making cakes from scratch since I found King Arthur cake mixes.
Their gluten free is fabulous and I love their Deliciously Simple Chocolate cake mix, it's rich and taste better than any chocolate cake I've eaten.
I make two layers and freeze one. Their butter cream icing is also a favorite.
I put a few drops of KA orange Fiori Di Sicilian in the cake and butter cream frosting, it's out of this world.
