I had forgotten how good these are.  I have an abundance of delicious white seedless grapes, so I put some in a stoneware dish and into the freezer.  They are better than any popsicle!  Wow.

I have never tried frozen grapes, I always think:

1- ouch! my teeth are sensitive to cold.  So it seems painful

2- chocking hazard !

@Sweetbay magnolia Frozen grapes are very good and refreshing. We used to eat them as snacks but not for wee ones.

@Abrowneyegirl, I know, I've thought the same thing, about sensitive teeth.  Mine are, but somehow these haven't been a bother.  I think if you let them warm up in your mouth it helps, and it also happens quickly.

I have been biting them in half, not popping the whole thing in!

They are yummo.

I even have some in my freezer at work for a quick snack in the afternoons.

On a recent episode of The Kitchen, Katie puréed grapes (no other ingredients) and made popsicles out of them. They all said they were delicious and were shocked at how good something that simple could be.

I'm making a white wine sangria later this week for company and the recipe said to freeze red and green grapes and pop them into the finished sangria along with some other fruits and they serve as little ice cubes and won't water down the sangria.

I'll have to try them frozen as a snack, too, sounds delicious!

There's a recipe for frozen grapes on foodnetwork.com.  It goes like this:

"Wash bunches of black and green grapes and place on a tray in freezer. Allow to freeze for at least two hours."

The comments are, as you might expect, humorous.  Five stars from Guest, who added:

"Great recipe. Right up there with 'Sliced Cheese' and 'Peeled Orange.'"
