Can be used as an appetizer with a toasted baguette or crackers.

Festive Tuna Spread

1 (8oz.) light cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 (12 oz.) can drained and flaked chunk light tuna, in water
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies, undrained
1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
2 tbsp. EACH diced red onion and sliced green onion
Dash of cayenne pepper (opt.)
Toasted baguettes or crackers

Using an electric mixer, combine cream cheese and garlic salt until fluffy.
Fold in tuna and remaining ingredients.
Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 24 hours before serving.
Makes 12 servings.
