I made up this recipe last week when we got 14" of snow, which caused the roof of the Viking's football stadium to collapse. I just used cans that I had in my blizzard pantry. {#emotions_dlg.laugh} It turned out pretty good; I served it over Uncle Ben's Converted white rice. Leftovers were even better!

Snowstorm Chili

1 pound lean ground beef
1 can Bush's Chili Magic Starter - Traditional - mild
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14 oz.) can tomato sauce

Brown the meat. Drain off any excess fat. Toss in the celery and onions, cover and cook for about 8 minutes, until softened. Add the Chili Starter, red kidney beans, tomato sauce and the diced tomatoes.
Simmer, covered, for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over hot, cooked white rice.
Nice to also have warm cornbread/ muffins.
