Yes, that's the one I usually get. Ore Ida or other. I think they also have one that already has chopped pepper & onion, but I add more of the pepper & onion to the filling.
I preheat my quiche dish, then put in a little EVOO & butter...the butter melts, and I throw in my seasoned, thawed potatoes, spread it around the dish, pat it w/ my wooden spoon to make a well, and in the oven @350 for about 15 minutes. Let it cool.

@Harpa I think that is the greatest idea.I will be trying that next time for sure.My DH will probably be happy because he misses the crust.

Hmm ....... I've never used heavy cream in a quiche ..... sounds like a great ingredient for this dish! thanks!
