I made this yesterday and it is absolutely delicious,.  My husband already ate half of the pan.  The spiced honey butter is perfect with it.  I'm going to make this for Thanksgiving.

I just looked it up & it sure sounds good!  My family doesn't usually go all out for the winter holiday meals any more, but I think I'll make this as I think everyone will really like it.  Something different from what we've done in the past.  Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Is there a difference between white cornmeal and yellow?

Are they interchangeable in recipes?

TIA for any info anyone may have!

Hi Respectlife,

I think the only difference is the color of corn used when it was ground and yes they are interchangeable.  Not sure if there is a taste difference.  I tend to think yellow hominy tastes better than the white, but it could just have something to do with the color.
