1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries

2 tbs. chopped walnuts

1 tsp. grated orange rind

1/2 cup butter, softened & divided

1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

2 tbs. freshly squeezed orange juice

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 egg

1/2 cup fat-free buttermilk

GLAZE

1 cup confectioners sugar

1 tsp. melted butter

2 tbsp. freshly squeezed orange juice

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 9" square or 9"-10" round baking pan with Pam & dust with flour.

In small bowl combine cranberries, walnuts & orange rind.

In small saucepan melt 2 tbsp. butter, stir in brown sugar, orange juice & cinnamon. Cook 3 minutes, stir constantly and pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with cranberry mixture.

Whis together flour, salt & baking powder in medium bowl.

In a large mixing bowl, beat remaining butter & sugar with electric mixer at medium speed till creamy. Add vanilla, egg, buttermilk and flour. Spoon over cranberry mixture.

Bake 40 minutes, till toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Invert onto rack & continue cooling.

Beat glaze ingredients till smooth, drizzle over cake.
