I've never made it, have only eaten it once or maybe twice in my life, but I think I might like to make it....maybe.
Anybody have a super easy, yet tasty, crockpot recipe?

There's really no recipe -- it's just "boiled beef". Follow the instructions on the bag. For the cabbage, dip some of the water out of the crock pot......and add it to a separate pot to cook the cabbage on the stovetop.

Never made it or tried it but I like my cabbage raw. Don't think I'd like it cooked and mushy. My mother used to love it. My grandmother, who was Irish, prepared it a lot.

I place my corned beef in the crockpot and add enough water to almost cover it. I also add the little packet of seasonings. Let it cook on low for 8 hours or so.
I then pour all of the cooking water into a pot to cook my cabbage and little potatoes on the stovetop. The cooking water adds flavor to the veggies.
I know some do roast their corned beef in the oven, but I have never tried that method.

My Husband made it for dinner last night. Can you tell he likes it?
As people have said follow the instructions on the package. The corned beef was so tender it fell apart when you tried to cut it.
No doubt he will buy another corned beef in the near future.

Years ago when Paula Deen had her cooking show, she made a simple recipe of corned beef and cabbage. She used canned corned beef and brussel sprouts, if I can remember correctly, she boiled the sprouts with little water until tender with sliced round onions then added the canned corned beef to simmer a bit. Before serving, she topped with cooked crinkle bacon. I made it once, it was quick, simple and tasty.

Forgot to add, this Paula Deen recipe for corned beef and cabbage was done in a large pot on the stove.

I've never had it either! I never even thought to make it!
My sister just told me what she does: corned beef, (she does not use the seasoning....I kept asking her how she does season it, and she said it is already seasoned....?)
potatoe chunks, carrots, cabbage...... She uses the stove top, cook slow - a couple of hours.
I would have used the crock pot.
Guess I won't have again this year. DH said he hates it!

Couldn't be easier in a crockpot @JeanLouiseFinch . Just toss in your corned beef, cut up a good sized onion, cut up your cabbage, toss those in and forget it. There's usually a seasoning packet you get with the corned beef, of course put that in too.
Serve with potatoes, mashed, cubed, however you want. Enjoy your great meal!

😆 you're funny, @Harpa
My husband has never asked for it and my mom never made it. We aren't Irish but dad liked it once a year either at his Kiwanis meeting that happens St. Paddy's week or my sister would make it and invite him and mom for dinner. Maybe he had it twice in the same week? 🤷♀️🍀
