Like mine runny too, @sunshine45 .

Think I basically steamed the eggs - took about 3-4min and they came out between soft and hard cooked.  I bet your shakshuka is really good also!

Thanx.

I've heard of putting eggs in meatloaf and always wondered do you hard boil them all the way or just soft boil and let them finish off inside the meatloaf, @sunshine45 ?

i do what i call a medium boiled egg (although i use an egg steamer to do mine.) they are not soft, not hard, but have a slightly "jammy" yoke on the inside.....definitely not runny.

@sunshine45  I love them that way!  When they are translucent and like you said jammy!  I also like them still somewhat runny enough to be eaten with a spoon out of an egg cup!   I love eggs!

And when I scrample them or "fry" without grease in a skillet, I cook them over low/low medium heat and turn off before they are done and let them finish just in the hot pan.

My niece loves to cook and she emails pictures of the completed dishes.

Sent her a few Poachies bags to do poached eggs for topping some of her creations.  Simplest and most perfect way to create picture perfect eggs with no hassle, no special devices, no stirring or swirling in a vortex, etc

Simply turn water to boil in a small pan, turn it down until a few bubbles come up from the bottom, place a fresh egg in one of the Poachie bags and stand it up in the pan.  Should be done in 4 to 4.5 minutes.  Lift bag and slip egg onto whatever food you're serving !

Amazon: 100 bags for @@approx. $9.
