@Dusty1 ITA. Grocery store cinnamon is no camparison to Penzey's that's for sure.

We used to use Cinnabon Cinnamon from The Cinnabon place years ago & thought it was good. After trying Penzey's I have not used anything else.

I'm down to my last jar & my refill bag is empty so I will have to order some more as we use quite a bit this time of year.

Re: Cinnamon Roll Recipe?

This is my dear mother's recipe - delicious.

Cinnamon Rolls (can refrigerate overnight and bake in the morning)

2 loaves frozen bread dough (she used Rhodes)

1/2 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)

1 (6 oz) package vanilla pudding (not instant)

2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup chopped pecans

2 Tbsp milk

Thaw bread loaves

Sprinkle chopped pecans in bottom of greased 13"x9" pan.

Cut each loaf of bread into 12 pieces and place in 13"x9" pan

Sprinkle dough with cinnamon

In small sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat and then add pudding mix, brown sugar, and milk until blended. Pour mixture over dough.

Let rise for 2 hours

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes

Invert pan onto platter

If you are in a hurry you can make them with frozen bread dough. Jus thaw the dough, and  follow your recipe
