I use to work next to a chinese woman and she gave me a similar recipe to the stir fry sauce, I have used it every since.  I mostly just use sesami oil, oyster sauce and soy sauce.

@spumoni99 Thanks!  We always do a mix of soy, sherry, ginger and corn starch to thicken a little.  Add water if you want more sauce.  We had a recipe that used sherry and a tiny bit of sugar.

Being lazy, I grabbed a bottle of Harvey's after the holidays and it worked great!  We do a few drops of sesame oil at the end of stir frying usually and give it a turn or two.

Thanks so much for posting! We make a really good stir fry, but usually use Kikkomans commercial stir fry sauce, which is loaded with salt. I would rather make my own,  it the different sauces can be daunting at the grocery store! Thanks again!
