I made these earlier today - very easy and very good, but also very sweet!

Caramel Marshmallow Bars

1 lg. box brownie mix (9 X 13 size)

1 stick butter (1/4 lb.) melted

1 large egg

1 jar caramel ice cream topping

mini marshmallows

Combine the butter, brownie mix, and egg in a bowl using a wooden spoon.

Press the batter into a greased 9 X 13 pan, reserving about 2/3 cup for topping.

Bake at 350 for 20-24 minutes.

Remove pan from oven; spread caramel topping over the entire base, top with mini marshmallows, and randomly drop the remaining batter over the top. (I'm thinking you could also sprinkle some nuts or chocolate chips at this point.)

Bake 8-9 minutes more, until marshmallows are melted.

Cool, and cut into bars.
