When you make chili with canned beans, do you rinse the liquid from the canned beans before you put them in the chilly mixture?

TIA

Yes @Flatbush

I always do!

No matter what recipe the canned beans of any variety are going into...they get rinsed well and drained.  I rinse until there is no foam at all and the water runs clear.

I use only pinto or kidney beans in chili, not chili beans.  If you use chili beans, I wouldn't rinse them because there are flavorings in the sauce.

If you use any other kind of bean, yes rinse.

@Flatbush  I buy Bushs Chili Beans in sauce, so I just dump the whole can in the chili. Just made a batch yesterday.

I use ranch style beans, which are flavored, so I don't rinse.

I rinse , but only because I have to watch my sodium intake, if you don't , I wouldn't bother to rinse.

I buy pinto beans, kidney beans and sometimes red beans.  I never rinse nor do I drain the beans.  I dump all the liquid in.

I buy and use a combination of pinto, red, and kidney beans in the can and I don't rinse them.

Flatbush said she uses pinto or kidney beans. Yes, do rinse these before making chili. I rinse all canned beans.
