@house_cat I line all of my pans for bar cookies as well as fudge.  I leave about 6 inches out of each narrow end so I can pull the piece up and put it on the cutting board next to the piece.

It does take a bit of fortitude to sit and roll all those balls of dough.  My mom used to do it sitting at the kitchen and watching Young and the Restless, As the World Turns, and Guiding Light. I used to help her.

house_cat ....thank you for posting this recipe!  I have printed it out and will definitely make for my family.  My grandkids love Chocolate-Chip Cookies and Brownies so this will be a winner for sure!   It sounds really good.  Maybe I have been under a rock, but I have not heard of Brookies before.
