My recipe is similar to this one.  I like to stir in a cup of sunflower seeds and a cup of golden raisins.

Love this salad! Not a huge fan of raisins, so I mix in some dried cranberries.

I used to be able to eat that, but no more, it would be heart burn and reflux city for me.

i've made this salad many times over the years.....my recipe included red grapes and sunflower seeds.  always been a hit.....

This is a good salad.  Nearly ten years ago (!) LilBitMissty shared a version that had no cheese, used brown sugar (same 1/4 cup quantity) and 3/4 cup raisins.  Also, her bacon (10 slices, crisp and chopped) was used as a topping layer after the salad was chilled overnight. 

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.
