@Tinkrbl44 If you've ever had that rye bread dip, Beau Monde is a big component of it even though the recipe calls for so little.

 

About 3 years ago, Wegmans stopped carrying the Spice Islands line, which was the only one found in stores here to make it. No other stores continued to carry it, either. I called the Wegmans corporate customer service rep and we had a good chat about how popular that seasoning is around holiday time. She phoned me later to say they'd be carrying only Beau Monde from the Spice Islands line  and that's exactly what they did.

 

It's a pretty versatile spice.

I always add a Tablespoon or so of whipped cream cheese to my egg salad and deviled eggs, I use mayo a little mustard and sweet 

relish.

I make mine basically with Best Foods, dab mustard, salt, pepper and. A little minced onion.  When I make a sandwich, I top egg salad with a little mashed avacado and some alfalfa sprouts, on either Daves bread, or a thin sourdough sliced.  That the only way I gussy it up, avacado and sprouts.
