I add a little garlic salt, mayonnaise, dill pickle juice, a little regular salt and pepper and then finely chopped celery.

I've always made egg salad with only mayo and some pepper, maybe a little salt.  It's kind of boring and I'm looking for some new ideas.

How do you make your egg salad?

Thank you.

I also add celery, yellow mustard and sliced green olives with pimentos!

@house_cat  - This is actually a deviled eggs recipe, but I adapted it once and served it on multigrain bread. Now that's the only way DH wants me to make it!

6 hard boiled eggs, chopped

1/4 c. mayonnaise

1 Tbsp. horseradish

1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped (I use 1/2 tsp. dry)

1/4 tsp. dry mustard

sprinkle of salt and pepper

Mix everything together in a bowl.

I do not use Mayo, instead Hidden Vally Buttermilk Ranch dressing.

I use Miracle Whip and pickle relish.  Sometimes a little onion and celery.  Salt, pepper, paparika.

I make egg and olive, adding chopped Spanish olives to the eggs, mayo, and black pepper. Instead of salt, I use Beau Monde because it has a hint of celery flavor. After mixing, I place it in a storage container and sprinkle with smoked paprika, which I thing gives an interesting depth of flavor.
