Is there anyone here who has ever made this sandwich with any tips?  I had a sandwich when I was very young from a restaurant called Lums.  It was the best roast beef sandwich I ever had.  I wanted to replicate it if possible.

I read that Buffalo NY was the original location where they make these.

It is basically very thin sliced roast beef on a very specific type roll. Google it, you will find recipes.

I've never heard of it, but it looks to be right up my alley. Yum.

Buffalo, here!

Yes, it is ours.....along w/ Loganberry & chicken wings!

Tops, Wegman's and several bakeries sell the rolls.

You can also purchase Kimmelweck topping to add to your own rolls as Kimmelweck rolls are not something you can find in too many areas.

Kimmelweck rolls are tricky ....they go stale very fast.  Must keep them in a paper bag but don't wait too long.....they get hard quickly.

It's the salt and the caraway seeds that make this roll special.

My vote for best in the area is Swiston's and Anderson's....not that anybody asked!  ha ha

They are always fresh, RB sliced per order and piled high!!!

Usually, there is horseradish on the table to add if you like.

@RespectLife  thank you!  I knew I didn't dream it haha!  I have seen the sandwiches available on gold belly website but they are pricey!

Thats why I wanted to make them!  Enjoy one for me please 🥰.
