I make a sweet version to drizzle over pork tenderloin:

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup water

2 tbsp soy sauce

Whisk everything together in a saucepan and bring to boil.

Reduce heat to simmer until thickened.
