Baked Chicken Biscuit Stew

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup flour

dash pepper

1 (32 ounce) can chicken broth

2 cups milk

4 cups chicken...cut into chunks

2 cups frozen sweet peas

2 cups fresh baby carrots...sliced or diced

1/4 cup onion...diced

1 (12 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits

Pre-heat oven to 375*. Melt butter in skillet. Stir in flour and pepper. Cook one minute stirring occasionally. Gradually add broth and milk. Cook til mixture boils and thickens. Add chicken, peas, carrots and onion. Cook til hot and bubbly. Put in casserole dish. Seperate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Put over hot mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. If the buiscuits start browning to quickly, cover them with foil.
