With peanut butter/jelly/fruit spread aisle.  Sometimes you might want to check the bakig aisle where the canned fruit/pie fillings, etc.

in most grocery stores- apple butter is where the jelly/ jam is located.

In my grocery store, it's on the aisle with the canned fruit (pineapple, apples,etc.)...

I would choose the apple butter that is apples only, rather than with sugar added. It is certainly sweet enough.  Check the label-in supermarkets, it is probably with the jams, but health food stores also carry it.  I once made my own by boiling down apples.............

Your post about asking reminded me of a time when I had an immobilizer from toe to kneecap and I was in one of the supermarket aisles.  Of course, I didn’t use the electric cart and when 2 employees didn’t know where something was, I took out my cellphone and called the store  manager who found me and brought over my request.

Once I called the store manager to get more cashiers on the line.  Works every time.

i really shouldnt haven’t been walking on that thing and now pay the price with an unpredictable arthritic kneecap !
