@chickenbutt

On another thread you said you turned off your  Hearts  so I think you don't realize people are giving a lot of hearts to your posts and you're not being ignored. Imo posters aren't posting replies or quotes as much now that we can heart a post. Smiley Happy

Oh, absolutely @Juniebugz!

I agree with you. Sometimes I will "heart" someone instead of typing out a reply to their post or to a thread.

I like to read chickenbutt's posts when she posts, and she does indeed "get hearted." Heart

I thought that chickenbutt was aware that she was getting hearts from others. Smiley Happy

Doesn't bother me really..If I post and ask a question,  I try and respond, but Zi sometimes don't get back here with time to ois...Inread the replies..My ego is ok with putting something out there and not hearing back..

I love to get feedback, and give it, but to make a post just to let someone know that I appreciate their responding to me seems excessive and sort of obsequieous...I really doubt that other board participants are out there, hanging on my every word, and waiting for my words of acceptance..

Lets face it, in the grand scheme of things..I'm really not all that significant...

        I just saw the newer posts on this thread...  and I need to say to you, @Mothertrucker, that you are "all that significant!"  Everyone is!

       This is a really good point, @Toppers and @Juniebugz!  I don't know if @chickenbutt will even see this, because she has said she disabled the "heart" feature and also she said she wasn't a fan of the "@" notifications...  I'll bet she has no idea her posts are often acknowledged with many, many hearts and also that we give her frequent shout-outs with the "@" sign.  I hate that she -- or anyone -- feels ignored.

I agree with you, @dooBdoo.

I'm thinking that some of these really nice people are thinking that they're being ignored, when in fact, they aren't at all. I would also hate for someone else to feel that way here.

That's my feeling too @ChynnaBlue. IMHO posters are too hard on each other sometimes. Just have fun, don't judge,   and move on, every day is a new day,is my attitude about posting. Smiley Happy

Hi @chickenbutt

I get ignored on this forum, also.  I've posted several recipes here and usually no one replies or says thanks.  I see where many people view it, but since there is no feedback, I decided not to post any more.

I posted the fruit rainbow here with a photo for St. Patrick's Day and finally just deleted it.
