This is a real annoyance.
When I ask a question on a bb I always check to see if anyone replied, and if they did I always comment and thank them because they took their time and typed a reply and answered me, and I always respect someone when they make it a point to reply and try to help..
Posting information takes time, and when you know someone is around on the QVC bb's posting as usual, but they do not return to read the reply(replies)... to their question or situation, it is rather annoying.
I can say there are exceptions that would be the person is ill, away, has no way to reply because of computer or Internet troubles, etc......but when they ask questions or advice, and people respond to them, and they never return but visit other QVC categories and post to them, then I would think twice about every replying to that person again, if they asked another question.
"At least people should have the common courtesy to reply if there are no problems stopping them from accessing the QVC bb's".
"That is the very least they should do".

@adoreqvc****So sorry. I also thank them as well. I don't know about the others, but I don't go back and re read entire threads to sift through for questions.
If you click on reply, then quote the post in the box, ahd add your message under the post.
Enter "@".
When you do, the poster's name is the one that will pop up in the box.
Chose the names and hit post.
The posters will be told you mentioned them when they check their Notifications.
Then they can post back to you.
Hope this helps.

It used to bother me, but I had to just stop letting it. I am ignored a lot, as I'm not in any group or not a chit-stirrer. That's fine. But one just needs to not let it get to them. Bigger fish to fry, eh? ![]()

I know what you mean, @adoreqvc. Probably has happened to all of us. I look at it this way....if the OP doesn't come to say it helped her, I'm sure my response helped someone else.

@adoreqvc you would think it's common courtesy. But I've come to realize that not many people will show you that. So now I think twice about answering , esp if it's a first-time poster. Usually you never hear from them again so I don't bother anymore. They just read the information and split. At times I will go to the hosts FB page to see if I can find an answer for the person and I let them know I will check for them. I try not to expect anything but if I do get a notification thanking me, it makes me feel appreciated. And If I post information I try to make sure I leave nothing out.
Like the other day someone posted about an offer for another shopping channel. When I asked a quick question, they responded "go to their site and find out." I kind of figured this person just didn't like me and weren't going to be bothered.

@chickenbutt I enjoy reading a lot of your posts.

I appreciate a thank you or a response when I get one, but they're not why I post and I'm not bothered when I don't get acknowledged.

@chickenbutt you have a great presence here and you've made many worthwhile contributions here. Just saying:

Blonde, Karner, and G - Wow, that is too kind. While I don't want to make this about me, I sincerely appreciate all the kind words.
