Can someone tell me what that nasty opaque ?skin? is between the shell
and the rest of the egg? I am having the worst time trying to get decent
looking hard boiled eggs that look good enough to use as garnishes or for
deviled eggs. When I try to peel the egg this stuff sticks so hard to the egg
it pulls chunks of the egg off and it also sticks to my fingers - yuck! I have
tried different methods of cooking the eggs. It even makes just cracking a
raw egg difficult. Any solutions would be appreciated. TIA. Sue
