Re: what does this label indicate?

The company - Eternagold - was sold years ago - so I wouldn't put concern on the packaging.  Now with that - the sticker could be an Inventory Tag.  If the earrings look okay and you love them.............I'd forget the rest.  Polish them up and enjoy them.

Yes, they (along with Honora Pearls) were bought by the Richland Company, so I know there is not the EternaGold teal box anymore.Smiley Sad

But I did order another pair (different style, different item #) the same day and I just recieved them today.  Shipped by UPS and from the town in Florida near where one would  send EG jewelry for repairs. See picture below!  The item from my OP was mailed via USPS from North Carolina.  eternagold larger hoops.jpg

These came with the EG warranty card and QVC box, no labels must be new!Heart

I don't think a lot of the QVC jewelry comes in the nice boxes anymore.

Yes, so sad...remember the ice blue Ephipany Diamoniqiue boxes, EG teal boxes, and Affinity diamonds' red velvet boxes?

I dont know about the label but they look like a return to me.

Yes, and these were to be a gift for a grand niece.  Good thing I did not have them sent to her, but to me instead. Smiley Embarassed

yes, that label indicates that it was a returned item.

they do sell returned items, just as any retailer would do.

if they look used and worn, then send them back for a refund. indicate that on the return receipt so you will get a full refund.

Hello @sunshine45, what is it on this label that lets you know it is a return?

@Mindy D

definitely the way it is printed with a much bolder print. i am out of town right now, but if i can find a jewelry item with a regular tag versus a returned item tag i will make sure to post the photo here.

it is easy to tell on a fashion/accessory item also. the never sold fashion items have rectangular stickers on them. the ones that have been sold and then returned and then sold again have a square sticker with much bolder print.

it doesnt mean there is anything wrong with them......i know that lots of returned items get resold if they are fine.

Yes, I think they used purple for 18K Gold for a time as well. Many of my regular black velvet boxes have "Diamonique" printed in gold, and one says "Dominque Dinouart." I have some Carolyn Pollack mint green boxes. Ecclissi has worked the opposite way, the older boxes were cardboard and the newer ones are aqua suede. They really spoiled us.
