Re: what does this label indicate?

[ Edited ]

I don't think they are a return.  I think it's an inventory sticker.  There's nothing to scan on jewelry.  I think my last eterna item was in a non eternal box.  If you are seeing makeup on the earrings though, I have no idea.  If there is no damage, I'd do as stated above and keep them.

Re: what does this label indicate?

@MoodeeFan I wonder if it's quality control?  Did it get pulled to be inspected?

Maybe try to post in customer care forum and one of the mods can respond?

I wouldn't accept worn or used/returned earrings.  I'm not even sure you can return pierced earrings in this state!

Might be an inventory label to identify the contents.

I don't think a lot of the QVC jewelry comes in the nice boxes anymore.

I remember back in the day when some items would come with a sticker saying that the item had been inspected for 'quality control'.

From some orders I've received and others I have read here, I don't think they do 'quality control' anymore!

@KingstonsMom    Quality control is always a random process.

I know, I only had a few orders in the past that had that sticker, but none for many, many years.

@KingstonsMom    I can't say that I've paid much attention.

I get stickers with the item numbers on some of myy jewelry purchases, which is very convenient for identification once the invoice gets filed away. When are the new boxes coming? QVC changed their logo almost 13 months ago!

yes, that label indicates that it was a returned item.

they do sell returned items, just as any retailer would do.

if they look used and worn, then send them back for a refund. indicate that on the return receipt so you will get a full refund.

That's what I thought and thank you, I will do just that.  These were to be a confirmation gift for a grand niece, but I would be embarrassed to give anything in this condition.

She needs  nickle-free earrings, so EternaGold would be my go-to product.

And of course, the difference with B&M stores is that I can 'see' the item before purchasing.  Smiley Happy

Hello @sunshine45, what is it on this label that lets you know it is a return?
