Re: question when ordering from LR

I order from LR and get a confirmation email after ordering.  Then I get an email when it is shipped.  I love ordering from her website because the cost of the shipping is included in the price.  So whatever the price of the item is, it is the total cost.  I just love to know that from the beginning.

Yes, her merchandise is marked up.  If I am unwilling to pay for that price, she usually has sales a couple of times through the year and if there is still inventory it is marked down up to 50%.

Her merchandise is high quality and I usually can't find them anywhere else including Hobby Lobby.  If I do, the quality of the item is much less.  I love the Christmas items she gets from the Nederlands and Europe.  I love the special pieces she and David get from Italy.  I don't buy a lot, but when I do, I am not disappointed.

Re: question when ordering from LR

I would hope that she provides an electronic receipt after orders are placed.

I've seen some of her items for less on Amazon.

I've also seen several comments from people who said they were banned from her Facebook for leaving negative reviews about her products.  Former QVC forum moderator Keyia must be loving that aspect of the job.  Wonder how many people he's banned between there and here.  🤣

I was always curious about her watches, are they really nice and do they hold up? If anyone who has bought one could share that information I would appreciate it.

40% is a low retail markup.  Perhaps poster meant 400%?  For example

6.00 cost     10.00 retail    =      40% markup

6.00 cost      24.00 retail   =      400% markup

Re: question when ordering from LR

I have followed Lisa since she left the Q. I've purchased her products. The few jewelry pieces  I've bought, I think are unique and a good quality. She also has great sales from time to time. Her customer service, in my experience, has been very helpful. To be honest, I have found some of her items, especially decor, on Amazon at a cheaper price. Some of her floral items were sold at Pier 1, which has closed in our area, for a lower price.  Her Christmas items are beautiful but very expensive, I think.
Last year, she had a sale before Christmas. I'll wait to see if she has one this year. I'm very selective now. I also wish she would post reviews...

Re: question when ordering from LR

Arizona Babe, I agree 100 percent with you. I personally have never found the items LR offers at Hobby Lobby, by the way and I shop there.   She has unique items and yes, like Frontgate, Pottery Barn or William Sonoma you pay for quality and one of a kind items. I haven't ordered a lot from LR but what I have ordered such as a cross pendant that is drop dead gorgeous and looks real, I have been satisfied with my purchases.  My only wish is she provided measurements for her clothing.

Don't you know that Hobby Lobby has gotten itself into hot water by smuggling in antiquties from the near east? You might be buying "hot" merchandise.

Re: question when ordering from LR

Based on a lot of the positive reviews I read on this board, last Christmas I decided to order 2 pairs of sterling silver earrings from her website. Both took weeks to ship after a lot of unanswered emails. It took two days after ordering to receive acknowledgment of my purchases.

When the earrings arrived they were tarnished, inferior workmanship and I decided never to order again. I never returned them as the return process was a headache.

Never again...
