The problem that I have seen the last 2 1/2 years, is that the boards have lost some good posters. When your posts are always being deleted, you have to ask yourself, Is it worth taking the time to post? I definitly see favoritism in many cases. This can be a really fun place attimes, but most times we are walking on hot coals.

I had a poster throw in my face that she reported me once and my post was removed. Who reports someone and then throws it in that posters face???? IMO she should have been banned for that.

I agree @BalletBabe; reporting you and then publicly announcing to you is uncalled for behavior.

I have something on my mind that I would like to have a serious conversation about. I personally think it is worth discussing but it wouldn't get past the mods. I wish we could have discussions about current events... so what if some of them get heated. That's life and is interesting to hear other peoples opinions.

The problem with discussions about current events is that there is almost always a political angle to them. Even if you word your comments very carefully, eventually something overtly political pops up.

I remember during the last Presidential campaign cycle Q allowed discussions of the primary debates.....I was surprised, but several posters insisted that it was not political.

How is that possible?.....it's a political campaign! I think those threads were eventually closed and I'm not sure they would allow it again. The moderators are hyper-sensitive to politics.

@Johnnyeager Some seem hypersensitive to just about anything... Just today, there's an item elsewhere about changes implemented by Qurate to ostensibly better coordinate the efforts of HSN and QVC... I posted several 'tongue in cheek' comments, having a llittle fun with corporate titles and nomenclature (no names mentioned) but I see they were deemed 'innapropriate'... Apologies. I guess I saw nothing in the guidelines that would prohibit such commentary... It appears we can add 'humor' to the list of things that are sort of iffy... Awww well, at least they did offer an expanation, however weak, for the deletions...

@SPURT With respect to that oft touted survey... let me take this opportunity to point out that it is now outdated... I'd venture to say there's been a good bit of turnover on the forums since 2014... Perhaps they need fresh feedback... among other things... Also, take heed, my friend, because while we've all known the hosts are off limits, we are now apparently not permitted to express our thoughts with regard to 'corporate'... I guess it's a good thing our commentary about good ole 'moms' wrapped up years ago

@BalletBabe I think you make a strong point about folks having to consider their time and effort to formulate a well thought out post only to see it zapped... Certainly, not every post any of us makes was exactly crafted, nor do they all contain pearls of wisdom but when we do post something of a considered nature, it's annoying to see it labeled (often mislabeled) and deleted... As for the poster throwing her having reported you out there, this is exactly the kind of behavior that ought to be better monitored, but so often isn't. All too often, it seems the stimulus is allowed to fly while the response is deemed unacceptable...

@stevieb The post may have been removed. I am not sure because I posted on several that day. I am sure someone saw it besides me. This poster has always been at me, since I started on the boards. I won't make any comments to her posts. Ignoring is the best way to deal with people like that. I thank you for agreeing. It really was shocking to me. Some people can be so mean. What is the point?? I want to be friends with everyone. I have learned that it is impossible with some.

@Johnnyeager I have to agree witth the Mods on that. I think Politics and Religion are 2 very sticky subjects. I have seen so much fighting about political stuff on Facebook.
