@stazgirl  It's called IMPULSE BUYING and I think QVC relies on it a lot to make their sales.......And I think if you bought many of the beauty products shown they probably would go "bad" by the time you got around to using them.....What I wonder about is the STORAGE dilemma--- where do these people put all this stuff?????

Of course there are the host/vendor "groupies" that MUST buy everything their "favorite" and Facebook BFF sells.....

This is what keeps QVC on the air---it's the way the QVC "world" revolves.......

What I wonder about is how do these faithful and loyal customers keep coming back for more and more when the product choices are so LIMITED---???????

Ah, OBESSION just the NEWEST QVC buzz word---
(who comes up with this sales hoopla anyway) you can tell when every host and vendor incorporates the same word in their conversation!!!.....I guess.they have to come up with gimmicks instead of choosing to have a variety of interesting products.....

I had the tv on in the background while I was in the kitchen and LOGO came on, and I heard a woman caller state she had gotten rid of all of her clothes so she could fill her walk-in closet with LOGO.  I am sorry, but if wore all those layers during the summer in the South, I would roast.  And I just don't see the point of paying $40 or $50 for something just so you could see the hem of it under three other garments.

@katiescarlett  hey KATIE......Logo is not my style either......but when I was browsing clothes at Stein Mart I did find the same style as Logo for $19....think of the money the fans of this style would save if they shopped around.....

And I can TOTALLY AGREE what your saving about the layers and living in the South, and same applies to the Southwest and West too---  NO LAYERS PLEASE!!!---  This weekend went shopping with a friend, and she picked up a fan because her office was too hot---and it's not even summer yet----guess the a/c is NOT that cold as QVC host/"designers" say it is and use the A/C as a sales gimmick....

QVC seems to ignore our parts of the country and seem to concentrate on a small segment of of their viewership in the north and northeast only----but that's okay---I've had it with QVC clothing anyway--the styles, inconsistent sizing, poor quality, and outrageous prices ---you can find things cheaper locally and no $11 try on fee either!!!

Oh brother @katiescarlett @Spurt... which just proves the theory that some people a) have NO taste... b) are utterly dumb as stumps... c) are nuts... or d) all of the above...

Now, SPURT, I will admit to watching some of the shows on St. Patrick's Day and Rose of Tralee, but they only ever offer wool sweaters!  Yikes!  I have a wool equestrian sweater and I wore it this winter for the first time in years and thought I was gonna die.  I about roasted in it!  So, I would love to see some cotton, and affordable, Irish sweaters.  So, I agree, they forget about us who don't wear jackets or long sleeves in the summer.   I used to buy the D&C jeans but what did it for me was ordering 4 colors of the exact same item number.  Washed denim huge, regular denim, fit fine, black tight, khaki could not get past my knees.  All the same item number, all the same size.  Yet the hosts, particularly Mary Beth, go on and on about the size consistency.  I have heard her ask callers about how the sizes are the same, not only within a line, but between different lines.

Anyway, off for a walk with Gidget and Mr. Puff.  And Chanel the cat (he was cat #5, get it, Chanel #5?!Woman LOL).  And I have to feed the horses.

@katiescarlett  I like to watch the Irish Shows too.....although tempted, I have never bought an Irish wool sweater, beautiful as they are, I'd probably never wear it for the very reason you experienced---I'd just get too hot!!!

Yep, I would occassionally buy D&C but no more---the sizing is crazy and even their  fabric is so different too.....

I just LOVE the names you gave all your critters!!!----so clever and so cute!!!

Hope the weather is good in your area and you had an enjoyable walk....

The walk was good, Chanel tried to bring a dead squirrel along for the walk, but he decided it was just too big for him to carry for a mile and a quarter.  I don't think he killed the squirrel, it was a little "flat" so I think it may have been hit by a neighbor's car.  It has been chilly here and breezy, and hopefully the peach trees came through the freeze last night.  Weird weather though.  Freeze last night, 80 tomorrow.

Glad you like my pets' names!  I put a lot of effort into coming up with a name that fits.  My nic, katiescarlett, came from my two black Labs I had years ago, litter mates.  Katie and Scarlett!  as in Katie Scarlett O'Hara.
