I also received an unpleasant letter regarding 2 frozen items I'd recently ordered. First was the chicken potstickers that arrived damaged. The reshipment was all pork (which I don't eat for religious reasons). They isssued a refund.

Second QVC-caused mishap was a frozen dessert that arrived warm to the touch. Another refund.

Neither of these were a case of me changing my mind or just "not liking" the items. They were damaged and/or defective (as are too many of their non-food items lately).

Before Christmas, I ordered a blanket and a completely empty box arrived. No packing slip, no blanket.

Halo scanner/mouse TSV from before Christmas? Piece of junk, and it's going back tomorrow.

I'm a charter QVC member (since 1987) and I'm getting very tired of having QVC point their finger at me--and many others--for returns caused by their rapidly-slipping quality standards. Their business is based on people buying items on faith, since products can't be touched, tried on or tasted beforehand...and the customer has zero control over QVC's slipshod shipping.

Nasty posters, don't waste your keystrokes replying that I should have known better, should have done this or that, etc. Or my favorite "Oh, I never would have ordered that in the first place..."

Totally agree!

I used to buy jewelry from the Q (2003 - 2007) that I really loved. My recent purchases have been overpriced junk, some damaged due to the Q's packaging, so back they went.

I have never had a problem with food refund if I was not satisfied with the product. They do not want you to return it. They tell you to throw it away. Can't understand you going through so much, a lot of drama. I have returned over 20 years about 4 food items or should say got refunded cause you don't return food. It's true though once you try to cancel, almost impossible because it comes from the company not the Q. A couple of times cancel went through, but most times not. Advance orders on food you can cance.

Years ago refunds were given with no hassle. I don't think it is the same today.

So true...but then they need to stop declaring that any order can be returned and the money refunded - no questions asked!! A bit of a double speak, I think....

I called again today and the nice CS rep a MAN refunded my order.Maybe yesterdays CS rep was just not having a good day.If I had not tried to cancel the day I ordered ,and for 10 days after that I would not have asked for a refund. They should have e-mailed that company and canceled my order. They had 10 days to do that before it shipped.

Thanks for telling me to call again. I was very ashamed to call back but I did. Thanks ladies.

Explination of my spending, (which I know I owe to no one) but I suppose no one believes me...............is..

I have spent thousands monthly over 20 yrs since my DH died and I became a very rich widow. I got hooked on QVC and shopping. There was nothing to stop me and I can well afford every penny I spend. I am a very lucky woman that my DH provided for me so well.I have no other bills except for what I choose shop for. I am very lucky in that dept.

I thank God I am so Blessed.

The story of my life is now online everywhere..........

You're right, you owe no one any explanation of your spending; but regarding how affluent you are, here's the thing - no one cares.

So,I cooked them and find they are loaded with peppers and I am highly allergic to peppers.{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

Nowhere did they say peppers are in them.I just watched the video, listened for it and they did not mention peppers.

Called CS for refund.CS service said I should have called CS for ingredient list before I ordered. Who does that ???

I would think anyone that is "highly allergic" to something would call for an ingredient list.

I've been a member since the beginning as well and totally agree on the lack of quality in the last couple of years. It used to be that I almost never received anything that was defective, but now I very seldom send something back just because I don't like it or it doesn't fit. I've had to send back a lot in the last couple of years because of defects, or sizing which is completely off from any size charts they offer. I base my decisions on clothes more on the actual "garment measurement", and when something is 1-1/2 to 2" smaller in the bust than the measurement shown, that's not a "just doesn't fit" situation- that's the fault of QVC's quality control. I recently got a WHITE SG coat that had a huge dirty spot just inside the hood. Another D & Co coat had a big dirty streak on the back. I ordered a pair of boots which were supposed to be light blue with silver studs and wound up with DARK navy with gold studs, and the video was still showing what I was supposed to get! I won't bore anyone with my other quality control horror stories. And I know someone will say "why do you continue to buy if you have so many problems?" I continue because QVC does have things that I can't find in local stores (including wide shoes and boots), and I don't always feel like trudging around the malls only to be disappointed in what I find. So I too hope they will start paying more attention to quality control than all the gimmicks etc. they use to sell us inferior products.
