She just happens to have an interest in crafting, etc and QVC is taking advantage of that. No different then David. When Bob Bowersox left they needed to have someone to take over that function. I kinda like Jill and I do watch her programs when I know they are going to be on.
Please - don't compare David to Bob Bowersox. David is no Bob Bowersox. His yummy faces don't begin to approach the ones that Bob used to make..

You can get much better ideas by Googling any product for the home that you need or desire.
I do think Jill is one of the best saleswomen at QVC and does earn her salary (unlike Shawn Killinger, Amy Stran, Jane Treacy and any others who insist on all the TMI about themselves and their bratty kids and other family members). She does seem prepared unlike the others as other posters have so well said.
However, I do not like copycats! I saw Martha Stewart demonstrate how to fold a fitted sheet at least twice on television and I'll bet you Jill did as well.
I just happened to tune in and saw her sheet folding and thought it would have been nice of her to have mentioned where she learned this. Give credit where credit is due! She did not think this up all on her own. Martha demonstrated this at least ten years ago or more and that is how I've been folding my fitted sheets ever since!
I have not seen Jill presenting anything original in the few minutes of "her show" since that I've watched other than family recipes (which didn't sound all that great to me).
Have you ever noticed how sometimes in a group of people there will be one who "steals" a witty remark or clever comment made by someone else within just a few seconds? They repeat the other persons words as if they are the ones who said them but louder or twice and then will laugh or wait for a response from the rest of the group.

Jill is not Martha Stewart in any way, shape or form and if they really hope to draw any comparison whatsoever between the two of them, they're either delusional or they're fooling themselves...

I have to agree with most of you. Jill is a Want to be MS , and a very weak one at that. And that folding sheet thing, well I also saw Martha do that presentation at least twice that I can remember and that is where Jill got it from . And yes, she should give credit where credit is due as classique posted. There is always a person such as Jill in every crowd for sure. They know everything, they are perfect, and everything is there idea !!
I totally dont watch her anymore, I used to if I wanted to see a particular show, now I just go without seeing it. I Cannot watch her , so annoying, so condescending and rude and dont get me started on that ridiculous laugh, or they um's and the "LISTEN" !!! I know I will be missing a show that I really want to watch, but will not sit through a presentation with her....Can't do it ..

I love her program very much, she is very informative about all of the products that she is selling, and her show is very cozy to watch with a nice cup of tea or coffee. In fact, I am baking a cake recipe of hers as I am typing this. . . go Jill . . .
I like her too. Very professional. I enjoy her home shows and think she is one of the best hosts QVC has.

Has Jill been to jail yet?

Which just goes to show how different our various perceptions can be. I generally find her, her voice and her often sing-song speaking modulation somewhat grating and will only watch her... maybe... if she's selling something I truly want badly to see.
I agree.
I'm sure others don't like the hosts that I find entertaining, but I find her to be very condescending, and I just can't watch her at all.
