Re: World Wide Internet Outage

My internet is ok, except for QVC.  Seems every time there is a free shipping day, their online site is down.

Re: World Wide Internet Outage

@Marp   Actually, it is not just a QVC "hiccup" this time.

I was unable to get into my credit union account this a.m. and a message told me it had to do with a Cloudfare issue.  (Thanks to the poster who pointed to the Cloudfare news item, which I hadn't seen prior to her post.)

I check my balance almost daily, but especially near the end of the month to be sure my pension is pending for deposit for credit on the first, when the bulk of my bills will be due.

Finally I was able to gain access and my figures for my current balance were correct, minus the pending pension amount, which should show up as anticipated for the first tomorrow after 9 a.m.

Have a good rest of the day today.

@aroc3435,  I know that the issues have been worldwide.  My comment was tongue in cheek because so many posters seem to think it is something Q does when it is free shipping day.

According to downdetector.com many entities are still having problems but many have now resolved.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

Re: World Wide Internet Outage

I was having problems with multiple sites this morning so it was not QVC's fault.

@Spurt

I didn't even think of automated ordering as I was shopping from my "wish list"...kinda glad it was down because although free s/h after seeing the nice stuff out today in stores at 1/3rd the price -- I'm glad.

Stores seem to be getting inventory.

Plus, stupid me I ordered something last week and used automated ordering it "defaulted" to my son's address.  Apparently, uses last address so now he will have to return for me & I'll pay $11 for a mistake🤷‍♀️

So sorry you had problems but you saved money for another day Woman Very Happy

Just for the future its easy to bypass the instructions that ramble on with the recording, but automated ordering  asks about what address you want your order shipped to....primary on file or another address...
