Last night at 8:40 PM I received a delivery from UPS.  There were 2 packages from QVC (one frozen scones) and the third from Macys. All day long tracking said out for delivery and late in the evening this was changed to loaded on delivery vehicle. So I was surprised to hear the truck and then a knock on my door. I figured I would get them today and then would be calling QVC  to get a credit for thawed scones but they were fine. I don't know if the truck broke down or what but this is the first time I received a delivery so late in the day

That time is pretty much standard with UPS for me, sadly.

I know during the summer, I'm the last stop on my driver's route.  I get packages between 5 and 7 most of the time.   When I'm in Florida, they come about 4 most of the time.

My husband is a retired UPS delivery man and he used to never get home until 9:30 or 10:00 pm during this time of year through Christmas.

Re: UPS Delivery

[ Edited ]

We had a delivery from UPS last night at 8:30pm. When we heard the truck my husband met the guy at the door. My husband asked him if he was working alone (usually at this time of year they have a "runner" with them) but he said he was alone and had 4 more stops to go.

My thought for getting the package so late is that they are super busy this time of year and we are at the tailend of the route.
