Not only are there plenty of complaints on the HSN board, I personally don't care for the majority of their merchandise. The only clothing I've ever purchased there was from DG2, but I had to stop when the quality went down. The other clothing items are so far removed from the style I wear I no longer tune in. Their broadcast reminds me of a series of infomercials. I'm thinking overall most of the shopping channels are out of touch with shoppers like me.

When I've bought anything from HSN, it has commonly been a household electronic - Tracfone well before QVC sold them, heater, large LED light, etc. IMO their electronics are less likely to be the outdated, unwanted models QVC relies on to get the most profit while tacking on unneeded kwap, and their electronics prices are better/more competitive.

I would never buy clothing from HSN. Sooooo not my taste. But I rarely bother to watch these days. I'll watch Adam Freeman's show if it's on when I cruise by. I like his presentations and he doesn't do same-old. I miss Daniel Green.

I don't know if HSN has an online forum, since I haven't frequently shopped with them I wouldn't post or read one if they did. I am not their frequent customer, why bother IYKWIM.

@LizzieInSRQ I agree 100%, I have never cared for HSN. The Q's sets, audio and hosts are definitely a cut above any other shopping channel.

I think this is an appropriate place to,post this discussion, as the Q should be interested in what works for their competition. I am ordering more from HSN for reasons others have stated....discount codes, free shipping, GREAT sale prices. It's time for QVC to step up their game. I find both companies to have excellent customer service staff.

Maybe that's why Q's prices are higher to fit the budget in for the sets. I noticed today they are outside. Sets are not as important to me as is the presentation of information and the pricing. Nice sets are not enough to make me watch or purchase anything. However I do enjoy HSN's movie theme sets. I loved the Cinderella sets a few years ago.

Too bad HSN doesn't run decent forums.

Maybe if they did, I'd think more of them. As it is, nothing I've ever read here has made me change my mind. Got bad jewelry, bad skincare and so-so hangers. burn me a few times and I disappear.
