It appears we have a choice to use either UPS or USPS for prepaid returns of $6.95. Is that right? Wouldn't the UPS return cost more? I need to return sandals that should have fit, but didn't. Label says 3 lbs. Do you think I could wind up paying less or more sending it by myself?

I never use Q's labels.  Tracking is pretty much non-existent.  I print flat rate priority mail postge at usps.com and it costs the same or less than Q's label plus it arrives there faster and with tracking.  i set it up when preparing the label to receive emails as it progresses through the postal system and when it's delivered.  You can't do tht with Q's label.  .

It really depends...it could be less or more.  However when you ship on your own you have tracking and a much faster refund.

I have a FedEx account so I ship most of my returns via FedEx and the Q gets it within a day or two.  However I usually return more than one item or order  at a time.

It depends on the size and weight of the package and if you have access to discounted rates. I returned the set of two t-shirts that were a recent TSV. I had the mistaken notion that I could send them back cheaper using the pay yourself label. The USPS lady asked if I had the prepay label as it would be much cheaper because of QVC’s discounted rates—$6.95 vs. $12.95. And this was a small soft pack. Shoes, coats, sheets, etc. would cost even more. Unless it’s jewelry, the prepay label is often the better bargain.

I have found that USPS is always less than UPS.

When I return and item I always print my own label, and drop off package at UPS store. Never use QVC pre printed  label. Always get refund in less than 2 weeks.

I would never use the QVC return label again.  You will be charged the $6.95 and also the shipping fee you already paid again.  I was told this is to get the return to the right place.  So you may end up paying item price + original shipping + $6.95 return label + original shipping fee again.  That is so not fair but QVC states it is explained somewhere.  I have emailed customer service several times but never got a response.  Again, pay your own shipping.  It will be cheaper!

You are wrong. The qvc return labels do show tracking you just go yo your order status, click on track your return. As for the price of returns, just have the post office check your cost first, I always add insurance if I send back myself, most of the time it's only a dollar or so difference.

It's never shown any tracking for mine there.

If you do use the Q label, be sure to have it scanned and get a receipt.  That proves it was mailed in case Q doesn't receive it.

That is what I have been doing since you posted this before and I love it.  I get up dates every time the package moves.
