According to her FB, she's in Key West.  I believe she comes back this weekend. 

Kerstin is also on vacay.

Kerstin has been on the air the past couple of days. In fact I just saw her this afternoon. 

And how does one go from being out on medical leave to now vacationing in the Key West? Gosh I would love to have the freedom a host has at my workplace.

New hosts doesn't mean anyone is leaving.  The q has been growing with the other channels.

I imagine that some of the long time hosts like Mary Beth, David and Dan are going to be cutting back their hours as time goes on..... working towards retirement. Getting new people that are good and able to step in  and trained now is a good idea.

Sharon Faetsch and Mary DeAngelis have been out on medical leave.  Jacque is gone (it's been long enough that I don't count Albany in the mix anymore).  Shawn is on family leave with her new baby.  Of the new hosts hired, one is (or will be soon) on maternity leave.

Add summer vacations (Jennifer Coffey just left for hers, and Jane Brown is wrapping up hers) and three channels and it's not at all surprising that the hosts are doing 4-hour shifts.

Poor Sharon had to have a stent put in because of a kidney stone.  I know a few people who had to have that done and that is miserable.

I've never had a kidney stone but I have had a kidney stent.   The procedure is very simple.  No pain whatsoever.

I've had a kidney stone and stent placed temporarily. The procedure to place it was simple and painless as I was sedated! HOWEVER, the removal was done in physician's office and it certainly was very painful for me.

Jackie Gonzalez left too.........reason unknown, she said goodbye on Facebook and has a personal Facebook Page now not connected with QVC........

Mary Deangelius has been out on some sort of medical leave but I think she's returning this Sunday on In The Kitchen With David

QVC has to fill 3 channels now---regular QVC TV, QVC 2, and Beauty IQ.........hence more hosts needed......and then there's times when hosts go on vacation etc etc........
