It's a sales ploy and I ignore them. Every company uses tricks to increase the urgency to buy but it never works with me.

Old Navy often has a flash sale and offers a percentage off for just a few hours at a time.

Yes, of course retailers offer sales. However 3 days after the sale has ended, they do not advertise those sale prices.
